The Perfect Manhattan

What's a Perfect Manhattan you might wonder? A really good one? That's what I thought the first time I got an order for one (a loooooong time ago). But it's actually a regular Manhattan but with the vermouth split into sweet and dry vermouth. Makes the drink a little bit dryer and lighter! "Perfect" if you want it just a little less sweet cocktail ;)

REGULAR Manhattan

2-3 dashes Angostura Bitters

1 oz (30ml) Sweet Vermouth

2 oz (60ml) Rye Whiskey

PERFECT Manhattan

2-3 dashes Angostura Bitters

1/2 oz (15ml) Dry Vermouth

1/2 oz (15ml) Sweet Vermouth

2 oz (60ml) Rye Whiskey
